Marsha Greenberg

Marsha is currently living the life she wants as an enthusiastic entrepreneur and leadership consultant. She was a partner with The Greenshoe Group, an international consulting firm for 20 years.  She brings more than 30 years experience in consulting, training and expert facilitation to her clients both locally and worldwide.  She’s worked with businesses ranging from large high-tech manufacturers to small non-profit organizations. Marsha spent the last four years living and teaching at Yeungnam University in South Korea. She was Corporate Diversity Education Manager and Worldwide Education Manager for Digital Equipment Corporation.  She was founder and partner of Women’s Educational & Resource Enterprises in Boston, Massachusetts.  She served on the faculty of Antioch Graduate School of Organization and Management. She served as adjunct faculty at The University of New England living and working in Haifa and Tel Aviv. Marsha worked for Seeds of Peace facilitating dialogue groups for adults from Israel, Palestine, Egypt, Jordan, India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. 

She is a founding member of Women Standing Together and served on the boards of The Maine Women’s Fund, Equality Maine and Global Quest. She was also a Girl Scout leader for 5 years.

She lives on an island off the coast of Portland, Maine, with her husband Steve Schuit. They have two adult sons and two wonderful grand-children. They enjoy traveling around the world, laughing, cooking and eating wonderful food. Marsha has completed two marathons and several triathlons. She and her husband recently walked 500-miles across Spain completing the Camino de Santiago. She is getting the life she wants, and hopes to spread that joy to others.

Steve Schuit

Steve has joyfully served clients from Amsterdam to Zihuatanejo, Mexico. His career has spanned service in the U.S. Peace Corps in Korea, to leading the Institute for Civic Leadership in Portland, Maine. He has designed and implemented leadership and management development programming for clients around the world. He served as a senior human resource manager with Digital Equipment Corporation, Fleet Bank and Tom's of Maine. As partner with The Greenshoe Group, he consulted on projects ranging from mergers, to expansions, to strategic planning efforts which broadened organizations' reach and increased their bottom lines.

Steve's background has also included stints in academia. He was an adjunct professor of human resource management at the University of Southern Maine's School of Business, and associate professor at Yeungnam University in Gyeongsan, South Korea, where students selected him "teacher of the year."

Steve has a fondness for pilgrimages. He has hiked the ancient Nakasendo Trail, from Kyoto to Japan. More recently, Steve completed the Camino de Santiago, a 500-mile trek from Saint Jean Pied de Port, France, continuing across northern Spain to the historic city of Santiago. Along this extraordinary journey, he compiled a series of "lessons learned" that have helped shape his current views of work and life.
